It’s now on to the spring.
After a very brief hiatus, the outdoor season is underway with March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, signifying the first official day of practice.
The competition begins on Saturday, April 5 with the Knights of Columbus Relays at Conley Stadium, followed just two days later with the first of four dual meets scheduled for the season.
Below is the schedule of all statewide meets in RI as well as several out-of-state competitions, such as the Penn Relays Carnival in Philadelphia (April 24-26), Glenn B. Loucks Games in New York May 8-10) and the Marathon Sports sponsored BSR Mid Distance Classic at St. John’s Prep in MA (April 25) and BSR Elite Scholastic Mile at Souhegan High In NH (May 5). The class championships will be held on May 24 at three different venues, while the State Meet returns to Brown Stadium for the first time since 2019 on June 7.
