OSR Scribbles: Season’s Done, But Certainly Not The Content

And just like that, another year of high school cross country and track & field has come to a close for Rhode Island athletes. Another year of spectacular performances on the trails, the oval and out in the fields.

While the meets have essentially ended for out latest year of high school competition, it doesn’t mean it ends here at Ocean State Running. We will continue to keep the content flowing each and every week. As we do after each year, we’ll highlight some of the top events this spring with our Memorable Moments feature. We also be out there covering an occasional road race, writing some features on a local talent and beginning around mid August, we’ll start shifting into cross-country mode by previewing what’s in store for the upcoming fall campaign. If you have an ideas on additional content you might want to see on our site during the hot summer months, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

By the way, we’re sure you noticed a change in the logo above. Yes, we are excited to announce our newest sponsor, New Balance. We’re thrilled to have the Boston-based company and one of the world’s leading sports footwear and apparel manufacturers with us here at OSR. In the coming year, we’re planning to have a lot of great things coming your way. Continue to keep us tuned.
