The outdoor season officially kicked off on Monday, with schools across the state given the green light to begin practice for the spring campaign.
Below is a complete list of invitational and championship meets in the Ocean State, as well as several popular out-of-state competitions.
A few key dates to keep in mind – the competitive portion of the season begins on April 4 with the Knights of Columbus 4xMile Relays (along with the hammer throw and Freshmen Mile). The divisional championships will be held May 16–17, followed by the Class Championships on May 23. The State Meet is scheduled for June 6 at Brown Stadium.
Marathon Sports and New Balance will sponsor several invitationals this spring, including the Knights of Columbus Relays, the BSR Eagle Elite at St. John’s Prep, and the BSR Elite Scholastic Meet at UMass Lowell.
