Now it’s time to get down to business.
Nearly two months after kicking off the season at the Injury Fund Carnival, schools from throughout the state will converge once again, this time with considerably more at stake. The regular-season buildup is over. The championship season has arrived!
On Saturday, they’ll all gather at Ponaganset for the RIIL Class XC Championships. All the hard work, dedication and sacrifices will finally be put to the test on the Chieftains’ covered-bridge trail at an event we promise will deliver plenty of excitement throughout its four-and-a-half-hour window.
As usual, Ocean State Running will be there in full force, providing plenty of interviews, photos and coverage of all the weekend’s action. Below, you’ll find everything you need for the Best Show in Town, including links to live results, our championship previews and the complete race schedule.
