Want to get a good idea of some of the top teams and athletes that will be competing at the State Meet in a couple of weeks?
This weekend’s RIIL Class Championships should provide a glimpse.
At three different venues on Saturday, schools from throughout the state will compete in their respective class meets. Class A will head to Coventry, Class B will be at Portsmouth and Class C is slated for Exeter/West Greenwich.
Returning to defend their respective girls’ and boys’ team titles are North Kingstown and Bishop Hendricken in Class A, Barrington in Class B, and Moses Brown and St. Raphael Academy in Class C. Several returning individual winners are also expected to compete.
Once we receive the entries we’ll provide a quick preview of some of the top events. Listed below is the schedule of events for all three meets.
