Will we see any records on Saturday at Deerfield Park, site of the annual Injury Fund X-C Carnival? Thanks to Smithfield High assistant coach Jeff Kurbec, we have a list of the five-kilometer course records at Deerfield for boys and girls and the records for each class as well as the Freshmen 4K marks. As you’ll notice, several marks were set on Nov. 4, 2020. If you recall, that was during the pandemic when Deerfield Park played host to the Class A and Class C championship meets.
