If you’re a fan of Rhode Island high school track & field, Brown Stadium is the place to be on Saturday. For more than seven hours under sunny skies and temperatures approaching 85 degrees, the state’s best athletes are expected to put on a show at the RIIL Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Ocean State Running will be there in full force with complete coverage of the meet, including photos, interviews, race recaps, and feature stories from what promises to be the Best Show in Town.
The team races should be just as exciting. Defending champion La Salle Academy, Bishop Hendricken, and Barrington appear to be among the leading contenders on the boys’ side, while La Salle and North Kingstown headline a talented field in the girls’ competition.
Below, you’ll find everything you need for this weekend’s championship meet, including links to Live Results, Heat Sheets, event previews, and the complete time schedule. First event starts at 11 a.m.
