Looking For Bloggers (& More) To Enhance Coverage On OSR

It’s all about you.

That’s the reason we do our thing at Ocean State Running. It’s not about us. It never was. OSR is all about you. It’s all about promoting this sport and getting the word out there about all the great happenings by our cross-country and track & field athletes, the schools and everything else related with a sport that gets overlooked by most media types, and doesn’t get the recognization it righty deserves.

With this being said, we’d like to get more involvement from you, our young athletes (and former athletes), to help continue our mission of providing the best possible product out there for cross country and track & field.

For starters, we’re looking for bloggers. We’re looking for schools out there that would like to submit team blogs each week to our site. Let us (and everyone else) know what’s happening each week with your schools. And don’t be afraid to get creative with it. In fact, that’s what we like. Talk about the workouts, team events, a particular meet (or meets) that happened that week. Basically anything related with your teams and athletes and send us photos, too. Of course, you know the drill. Make sure it’s clean and appropriate. Click HERE and HERE for examples of a blogs created by athletes from our sister site in New Hampshire (nh.staterunning.net).

We’re not done yet.

We’re also looking for passionate high-schoolers that can help us out with our meet coverage. We can always use assistance with interviewing, Facebook or Instagram Live, photography, or whatever. Let us know how you can help.

Those interested in either of these options, please let us know. Contact us at smazzone5@gmail.com and will let you know all the details.
