This past Saturday we had our final two qualifiers for the upcoming State Meet with the Hendricken Invitational for boys and the Mount Pleasant Invitational for girls.

Congratulations for the Cumberland High’s 4×800-meter relay, who were nominate as the female recipients of this week’s HOKA Athlete of the Week. The quartet of Rose Toumisto, Charli McCue, Grace Carr and Kiley DeFusco combined for state-leading 9 minutes, 31.42 to strike gold at the Mount Pleasant Invite. That time broke a 10-year-old school record and is the fastest in the state by 37 seconds!
