Our latest HOKA Athletes of the Week were down in North Carolina this weekend. Congratulations to Narragansett’s Cole Francis and Pilgrim’s Keaney Bayha for this week’s honor. Both harriers improved on their state-leaders at the prestigious Great American Cross-Country Festival at the WakeMed Soccer Complex. Competing against the region’s best on the fast 5K, Francis finished 30th overall in the featured Race of Championships with a time of 15 minutes, 32 seconds. For Bayha, it’s the second straight week she earns this honor. The Patriots junior was 26th in the girls’ ROC with an all-time best of 18:03.4. That time improved on her previous best of 18:39.70 from the Paul Short Run a week earlier.
