The competition portion of the cross-country season gets underway on Saturday with the annual Injury Fund Carnival. Deerfield Park in Smithfield will once again play host to the season-opening meet, which includes a total of eight varsity and two freshmen (boys & girls) races, beginning at 9 a.m.
Of course, Ocean State Running will be on site, providing all the coverage. Marathon Sports will also be there, selling meet T-shirts and other merchandise and OSR gear.
